How does the Glowskin O+ device work?

The Glowskin O+ device is used for three-stage, safe and non-invasive skin care. It uses the power of two heads that produce active carbon dioxide – its application to the skin of the face causes the so-called Bohr effect.

The beneficial effect of the Bohr effect is two-fold

• The accumulation of carbon dioxide on the skin causes its superficial hypoxia.

This in turn forces the body to deliver oxygen to these areas more effectively. As a result, the blood vessels in the treatment area expand, facilitating faster blood flow and delivering large amounts of oxygen to the skin. Improving the blood vessels also sensitizes them – they better absorb cosmetic active substances and transport them to the skin cells more effectively.
